As our community focuses on innovation in the emerging environment of long-term services and supports and integrated healthcare, technology will continue to play a key role in helping providers achieve the triple aim of better health, better care, and lower cost.

Join ANCOR on Friday, OCTOBER 7th in Broomfield, Colorado (near Denver) for the 2016 ANCOR Technology Summit and Showcase, and hear from peers, advocates, and experts on ways technology can help the Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) community achieve those goals.

The 2016 ANCOR Technology Summit and Showcase will immediately follow the 16th Annual Coleman Institute Conference scheduled for October 6th. Both events will be held in the same venue though separate registration is required for each event. Check out both!

What to Expect?

We are filling this year’s Tech Summit with twelve concurrent break-out sessions and presenters who can lead discussions that will:
•Identify technology solutions and applications that can improve provider agencies operational efficiencies
•Raise awareness of low and high-tech options that can facilitate increased independence for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD)
•Generate excitement among providers and advocates about emerging technology that can benefit the I/DD community in the near future

We will also dedicate time for a Technology Showcase where attendees can visit with each of the exhibitors to:
•Explore their latest offerings
•Find out about their future development plans, and
•Discuss your most pressing technology-related needs

Check back frequently for updates to the Tech Summit schedule as we finalize the details over the summer.

“The session: Technology in Your Organization was great. It was a very practical and tangible method of integrating the technology, accessibility and outcomes culture into an organization. Really enjoyed this one.”

Among the summit highlights that were noted: “Seeing how programs are implementing technology to increase independent living and reduce staff in the home.”

“I was excited to hear the many comments from speakers over time talking about meeting the needs of individuals with IDD through technology. Rather than fitting people to the place, there was a lot of finding a place for people who are not all that different from us, providing needed supports.”
